Levi’s 517 Low Rise Boot Cut Flared Jeans

Vintage Levi’s 517 women’s/juniors boot cut jeans, made in USA in 1999 (code 554 - San Antonio, Texas), particularly good late-90s version of the 517: low through the top block, slim through the thigh and opening strongly below the knee into a pronounced bootcut / flare silhouette. Made from substantial approx. 12.5 oz 100% cotton denim with no stretch. The beautifully even vintage blue keeps the silhouette clean, while the wide 22.5 cm hems give these considerably more flare than a typical modern bootcut. Original zip fly, Levi’s Red Tab, five-pocket construction and original hems. Very good vintage condition. Strong, healthy denim throughout the crotch, thighs and seat, with clean original hems and no major damage or repairs. Minor localized wear above pocket seams and a heavily washed, naturally aged jacron patch, as pictured. Please note that these are genuine low-rise jeans, so the 37 cm waistband measurement sits lower on the body than the waist of regular or high-rise jeans. Tagged size: 3 JR M / approx. W29 L32
