Edwin ED-489 Straight Jeans

Vintage EDWIN ED-489 jeans from the late-1990s Canadian production, finished in clean solid white denim. A particularly fresh example - unworn apart from being washed once, with the original Edwin patch, branded hardware and labels all beautifully preserved. The cut has a neat, fitted top block with a moderate front rise and a relatively slim thigh, opening into a clean straight leg rather than a narrow skinny taper. The 21 cm hem keeps the silhouette balanced and gives them a classic late-90s straight-jean shape. Made in Canada from 97% cotton and 3% Lycra spandex, so the denim has some natural flexibility and is more comfortable and forgiving than rigid cotton vintage denim. Classic five-pocket construction with zip fly, riveted front pockets. Excellent near-new vintage condition. Unworn and washed once. The white denim remains very clean throughout, with no holes, repairs or structural wear. Crotch, inner thighs, pockets, seams and original hems are all exceptionally healthy. Tagged W33 L30. The waist measures approximately 40–41.5 cm flat depending on tension; combined with the 3% stretch this makes the tagged W33 a sensible practical reference. The 75 cm inseam corresponds closely to the original L30.
