Levi’s 550 Relaxed Tapered Jeans

One of the strongest late-80s Levi’s looks: a crisp black-and-grey acid wash with a pronounced marble effect that gives the denim real texture without looking overdone. The wash is clean, evenly preserved and has that unmistakable original character. Compared with the 501’s, the 550 offers a higher rise, noticeably more room through the seat and thighs, then tapers gently towards the hem. It keeps the relaxed vintage silhouette while the narrower leg opening prevents the fit from looking overly wide. Made in the USA at the Knoxville, Tennessee factory (code 532) in January 1989 from heavyweight 100% cotton denim. Original back patch, red tab, zip fly - detail intact. A genuine pre-90s Made in USA pair with verified production details. Excellent vintage condition. Only light abrasion on the inner leg seams and near the lower legs from normal wear. No holes, repairs, stains or weak areas visible. Clean hems, crotch and pocket corners. Material is thick but comforable, feels lived-in and drapes nicely. Tagged size: W38 L32.
