Vintage Levi's 900 Series Mom Jeans (Model 902)

The interior care tag and button stamping definitively date these to March 1989 - Made in USA in Mountain City, Tennessee. The lot code 56902 on the internal tag identifies these as the specific "902" model, renowned for its relaxed mom-jean fit. Made from thick 100% cotton denim. Washing throughout the years made this pair very comfortable, it feels good against skin and drapes nicely. These feature a classic high-waisted, tapered leg silhouette in a gorgeous dark blueish mottled wash. Unlike standard 500 series Levi's, this era-specific line features a unique paper "Real Life Wears Real Jeans" and a grey small-e tab. The construction is exceptionally robust, featuring tonal dark indigo topstitching, a brass YKK zip fly, and double-stitched flat-felled inseams. Very good condition, with only light wearmarks on lower leg seams. No material damage, no holes, stains or weak spots. Crotch in exceptionally good condition, no thinning. No repairs or alterations.
